Wharton Construction achieved it's 40 years in business this month and we celebrated with a get together in our yard Tipi style. A great day / night was had by all, despite storm Amy.. We congratulated many of our employees on some long service mile stones ..with a fantastic 40 years going to the founders of WCL Peter Wharton and Sandra Wharton for there dedication to the company all these years, remembering some very special past employees that helped them along the way .... Also our longest serving Joiner Kev Dixon and our resident joker David Jackson both reaching the 40 year milestone and many 30 and 25 years service awards also. We look forward to next 40 years 👏👏4️⃣0️⃣🏆🏆👷‍♂️

Spreading Joy This Easter

Our very own Tristan Davison from Wharton Construction, who proudly volunteers for Bloodrun EVS, once again gave his time this Easter to help bring a smile to those who need it most.

In partnership with ourselves here Wharton Construction, Cummins Inc, CBRE, and with the valued help and support of The Electric Centre, Tristan helped collect hundreds of donated Easter eggs and then delivered them to local hospitals including James Cook, North Tees, Hartlepool, and the Friarage, as well as two local hospices and two Fire Stations.

It’s amazing what can be achieved when people come together. Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this such a meaningful Easter for patients, families, and frontline staff alike.

We had an outstanding morning at AV Dawson Limited, where we are currently immersed in our latest construction project. We had the pleasure of meeting with members from the Building Heroes charity.

At Wharton Construction we take great pride in our commitment to supporting this charity. We offer invaluable insights into the construction field to ex-military individuals who are currently honing their construction skills at Darlington College. It was a privilege to host the newest members of the charity at the AV Dawson site, where we showcased our project.

In addition to our engagement, AV Dawson generously provided members from their own team, many of whom are ex-military themselves. These colleagues had meaningful discussions with the charity members, highlighting the diverse opportunities available as they transition from military service.
