Progress is coming along brilliantly at our Brampton Church project. 🙌

The stonework has now reached scaffold height and is looking fantastic. We’re also making a start on the garage, which will be built using a beautiful handmade brick 🧱.

A lot of hard work has gone into this project so far, and it’s great to see everything taking shape. Looking forward to sharing more updates as we continue to move forward.

Northamptonshire ironstone finished with Ashlar quoins and cills — and what a combination it is.

This is some of the stonework from our latest project over in Church Brampton, and it’s definitely one of those jobs where the pictures don’t quite do it justice. The character, colour and texture in Northamptonshire ironstone is unreal, especially once it starts coming together with the ashlar quoins and clean stone cills.

It’s genuinely one of my favourite materials to work with. Every piece has its own shape and variation, and when it’s laid properly the finished result has a timeless look that you just don’t get with modern materials.

A lot of time and attention goes into getting the detail right on work like this, but seeing it all come together makes it worth it. Traditional stonework done properly will always stand out.

Using a vibrating poker on stanchion foundations is critical for removing trapped air, eliminating voids,

Proper vibration means:
✅ Stronger foundations
✅ Better compaction
✅ Reduced honeycombing
✅ Longer-lasting structural support

Skip this step and you risk weak spots that can lead to costly failures later on.

Excited to finally share site pictures of our newest project with everyone 🔨🏡

Set in what is probably one of the nicest locations in Northamptonshire — Church Brampton — this is going to be something really special.

We’re building a luxury 7,000 sqft home featuring:
• 5 bedrooms
• 5 bathrooms
• Beautiful stonework and handmade brick throughout
