Network Rail will soon be working near Teignmouth station to improve the tracks, helping to maintain a safe and reliable railway.
They’ll be working at night when trains aren’t operating, so their teams can work safely, but please be aware these dates may change.
Date and Time of shifts:
Saturday 13 to Monday 15 December – 10:00pm – 9:00am (overnight only)
Saturday 17 to Sunday 18 January – 10:00pm – 9:00am
Saturday 7 to Sunday 8 February – 10:00pm – 9:00am
Saturday 14 to Monday 16 February – 10:00pm – 9:00am (overnight only)
They work around the clock to keep the railway running smoothly for passengers and freight. Their work is often noisy, late at night and on weekends. The nature of the tasks means they can’t prevent all noise, but their teams will try to minimise this as much as possible and they are sorry if they disturb you.
