One of our latest Stiebel Eltron Heat Pump installs in Mickleover. An engineer from Stiebel recently came to commission the install and was hugely impressed by the standard of our installation, taking photos to show his colleagues back at base. Vincent was hands off on this so it was very much Max and Kyles work (our recently qualified apprentices) Nice job lads 👏

When someone leaves you a 1 star review which is no way based on facts but seek only to harm your business No choice but to block them from your business page. Unfortunately that means my very lengthy response to him can't be viewed. This response will be posted on Google where he has also left a 1 star view when I can gain access as we seemed to be locked out.

As the Queen said "Recollections may vary" and they most definitely do in this case.

All we are guilty off being so incredibly busy its a struggle to keep up with the volume of enquiries and demands placed on our sole qualified, exhausted engineer . Roll on March when our apprentice Max will be Gas Safe qualified.

We are the look out for another apprentice to join our small team later this year (Sept or Earlier) Particularly keen to hear from Engineering Graduates or candidates 21yrs plus with a passion and a natural flare for Engineering. Maths and Physics A Levels, a clean driving license and an interest in Renewable Energy would be advantageous.

This is a Gas Safe apprenticeship role (Renewable Energy apprenticeships have not been rolled out yet) Gas Safe qualification is a pre requisite for further training in Heat Pumps, Biomass and Solar Thermal that you will complete after apprenticeship is completed. Alongside the Gas Safe apprenticeship the successful candidate will receive onsite technical training in Heat Pumps, Biomass, Solar thermal which are increasingly becoming the main focus of our business. You will attend a training centre 1 day a week for Gas Safe training.

We are keen to hear from Neurodiverse candidates (ADS, ADHD, Dyslexia) who enjoy Engineering as a hobby. You will be invited to come and spend time on site to see what the job entails so don't worry about pressure of a formal interview.

The successful candidate will be the second apprentice to join our team. Whilst this is very much a hands on Trainee Heating Engineer Role we are keen to find a candidate who over time will play a key role in developing and growing the business and managing and mentoring new apprentices.

Visited Rockaway Park (Bristol area) with Lucas while Vincent on Biomass Training. Absolutely loved it. Almost reminded me of home with all that scrap (treasure:) everywhere. Amazing creations from other people's rubbish. The very friendly owner took the time to give us give us a guided tour and told us all about his amazing vision. Well worth a visit if you are in the area, kids will love it here.

Rockaway is a creative hub, set in an old quarry scrapyard in Temple Cloud, just south of Bristol.

It's been quite a year, busier than ever. Thankfully a couple of apprentices on board and we have almost relocated to a nice big unit which was long overdue. Finally, after almost 20 yrs in the renewable sector we seem to have turned a corner. Demand for Heat Pumps is huge, and after so many years in the Doldrums we have seen a massive increase in Solar Thermal. Pleased to say the only Gas work we seem to be doing these days is servicing which is a really good sign. The challenge now is to grow our team to try and keep up with demand

This is our own project on a property we will be renting out. It will have an A rated EPC thus reduced energy bills. A rare find on the rental market I'm sure

We have had an incredibly busy year so far. Mostly Biomass and Heat Pumps which is great news after feeling like we have been flogging a dead horse for far to many years. Fingers crossed the new PM does not do what so many have done and put the dampers on the Boiler Upgrade Scheme and once again decimate the Renewable Heating Industry

We are only able to quote for Heat Pump enquiries for 2023 as we are up to capacity this year with Heat Pump installations and we are also facing some lengthy supply issues on Vaillant Heat Pumps. So plan ahead, get in touch and please bare with us. Fingers crossed our turn around will improve next year as our apprentices are well on their way being equipped with the skills and expertise needed so Vincent can spend a bit more time site surveying and quoting. And who knows we might expand our team further with another apprentice next year. Hoping they may start rolling out Heat Pump apprenticeships in 2023

In answer to this mornings customer. Yes pay back will be a few yrs when you install renewables. But who considers payback on that flashy kitchen/wet room/car etc etc 😂

Some interesting energy consumption figures just in almost a year on from install from a customer in a drafty barn conversion with Electric Heating. PV installed by Ace Solar in Notts and Heat Pump and Solar Thermal by ourselves. Potential customers are welcome to see these figures.

The Klover Smart 80 is a wood pellet boiler with hotplate which can run the heating and hot water for your house as well as allowing you to boil a kettle or heat up a casserole when the stove is hot. The Smart 80 pellet boiler runs at an efficiency of 88.1% and is finished in stainless steel.

The Klover Smart 80 wood pellet boiler stove qualifies for the £5000 Boiler Upgrade Scheme grant, to encourage people in rural areas off the gas grid to use renewable energy to heat their homes.

Apprentices looking busy on a heat pump install. Two bed annex, cylinder and associated equipment located in roof space as limited space on ground floor. Customer should benefit from £5000 Boiler Upgrade Scheme grant toward the cost of install. An oil boiler was the other option in this case. Grateful to have some youngsters on our team especially when it comes to kneeling down doing pipework.😂

Wow! 3 calls yesterday from unhappy Heat Pump customers. Same East Mids company name mentioned in 2 of these calls. One customer taking legal action. Seems like we may have the same wild west situation we faced when RHI was first introduced for Biomass boiler. Invariably those customers with the problems went for the very cheapest price they were quoted. We are clearly going to be kept very busy
