Straight lines. Sharp edges. No shortcuts 🙌

It's easy to look at the finished floor and think it's just paint on concrete.

What you don't see is the mechanical preparation, the careful masking, the multiple coating stages and the attention to detail that goes into achieving a finish like this.

This project transformed approximately 350m² with a Flowcrete SF41 high-build epoxy system, complete with bespoke safety walkways and demarcation.

A clean finish, built to perform in a demanding industrial environment and another project the team can be proud of.

✨ Meet the Team: Ben ✨

This week's Meet the Team is extra special, as we're not only introducing one of our Directors, Ben, but also celebrating his birthday! 🎉🎂

Ben is a hugely valued member of the Industrial Resin Flooring team and someone who will always go out of his way to help others. Whether it's supporting colleagues, assisting clients, or sharing his expertise, Ben is always happy to lend a hand.

With a wealth of industry knowledge and experience, Ben is our go to person for advice and guidance. His professionalism, dedication and willingness to help make him an invaluable part of the business.

When he's not talking flooring, you'll probably find him talking motorbikes. A huge motorcycle enthusiast, Ben owns an impressive five road bikes and is a dedicated fan of the Isle of Man TT, attending the event every year. If there's a conversation about bikes happening in the office, chances are Ben is leading it! 🏍️

His hard work, expertise and positive attitude play a huge role in the continued success of Industrial Resin Flooring, and we're incredibly grateful to have him as part of the team.

🚜 A forklift shaped line marking? Now that's something you don't see every day!

Our team recently completed a resin line marking project within a busy warehouse environment and one of the standout features was this custom forklift stencil marking within the charging bay area. 💥

Before application, the floor was thoroughly prepared by removing dust and debris, solvent washing, lightly sanding the surface and masking out all designated areas to ensure a crisp, professional finish.

Using high build industrial resin, we installed:

🔹 Safety Yellow line markings throughout key operational areas

🔹 Blue and Yellow segregation markings within transit routes

🔹 Designated charging bay markings

🔹 A custom forklift stencil that really brings the area to life while clearly identifying the space's intended use

It's details like these that make a practical safety solution stand out. The finished result not only improves site organisation and safety but also gives the facility a clean, professional appearance.

A great effort from the team in delivering another quality installation. We wouldn't be where we are today without their hard work, dedication, and attention to detail👏

5 days and another floor transformed! 👊💥

Recently completed this project in Sutton in Ashfield, taking the floor from preparation right through to a clean, durable final finish.

The process:
🔹 Grind
🔹 Prime
🔹 Scratch coat
🔹 Regrind
🔹 Two coats of Sherwin Williams in the colour Sterling Grey

A great finish always starts with the preparation, and this project was no exception. The time and attention spent getting the surface right is what creates a long-lasting, professional result.

Ryan has recently moved into the office to take on the role of Contracts Manager. Having already been a valued part of the business, Ryan brings a wealth of hands on experience and a strong understanding of our operations.

📍 Industrial Unit Floor Refurbishment – Mansfield 📍

When this industrial unit came to us, the existing concrete floor was heavily damaged, uneven and affected by significant oil contamination from its previous use as a mechanical engineering workshop.

The challenge? Deliver a practical, durable flooring solution within a tight budget and time frame.

Our team carried out extensive preparation works, including repairing damaged concrete, treating contaminated areas, and leveling the substrate where required. We then installed a specialist epoxy flooring system designed to provide long term adhesion and performance, even on contaminated surfaces.
