HSE has released the annual work-related health and safety statistics for Great Britain (GB) (2024/25).

The data shows:

1.9 million workers are suffering from a work-related illness
964,000 workers reported work-related stress, depression or anxiety
511,000 workers experienced a work-related musculoskeletal disorder
124 workplace fatalities were recorded

Work-related illness and injury led to 40.1 million lost working days and an estimated £22.9 billion cost to the economy.
