At MW Polymers, sustainability isn’t a slogan - it’s engineered into every solution we create.

For over 40 years, we’ve been developing high-performance sealants, coatings, and adhesives that don’t just fix problems – they extend the life of critical infrastructure. By repairing pipelines instead of replacing them, our technologies help reduce material waste, minimise disruption, and lower environmental impact across the gas, water, and energy sectors.

Our polymer repair systems are designed to deliver long-lasting results - often up to 50 years - helping customers avoid repeated interventions and unnecessary resource consumption.

From preventing leaks to protecting vital networks, every solution we provide contributes to a more efficient and sustainable future.

This Earth Day, we remain committed to:

✔ Reducing waste through repair, not replacement

✔ Supporting safe and reliable infrastructure

✔ Continuing innovation in environmentally responsible materials

🌱 Small changes in how we maintain our infrastructure can make a big impact on our planet.

We were pleased to welcome the Mayor of Erewash Borough Council, Councillor Harry Atkinson, and business adviser Richard Smallwood to our facility yesterday. It was an honour to host Councillor Atkinson for his first visit to our business and to reconnect with Richard, who has provided valued support to us over many years.

The Mayor was in the area to greet Greg James during his inspiring Comic Relief cycling challenge. It was wonderful to witness his tremendous efforts firsthand, and we are proud to make a donation to Comic Relief in recognition of such an important cause.

During the visit, we had a highly productive discussion about our ongoing R&D projects and the innovative developments taking place within our business, which continue to benefit from the support of both the Mayor and local advisers. It’s always encouraging to see such strong backing for local manufacturing and innovation across the region.

🚀 Teamwork Meets History at MW Polymers! 🛠️✨

We’re incredibly proud to share a special project we’ve been part of: helping restore a Rolls-Royce Merlin MK3 engine, believed to be the only fully operational example of its kind left in the world.

This iconic engine, famously powering aircraft like the Spitfire and Lancaster during WWII, isn’t just a piece of machinery – it’s a symbol of engineering excellence and national heritage.

Working alongside a passionate local enthusiast, our team helped breathe life back into this remarkable part of aviation history. From materials expertise to practical problem-solving, it’s been an honour to contribute to preserving something so meaningful.

At MW Polymers, we love a challenge, but even more than that, we love helping keep engineering heritage alive for future generations. 🔧💚
