FDD International is the leading distributor of international health & beauty brands into the UK retail market.
Based in Ascot, they are a Top 3 beauty supplier to Amazon and Top 50 supplier to Boots, along with many
other major retailers such as Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Superdrug and Asda.
Increased year on year orders highlighted a necessity to eliminate a re-palletising pinch point within their
warehousing and distribution process. Customer’s orders were all being handballed which had many knock-
on effects throughout the business.
Having researched different options, the FDD management team approached Premier Pallet Systems for help.
The brief for the project was simple. The solution had to be installed within an area with limited space, be
safe, efficient, and cost effective.
After visiting Premier’s factory, testing loads within several types of Pallet Inverters, a suitable solution was
soon agreed upon and an order placed.
