Asbestos Operative Needed

We are currently seeking Asbestos Operatives to join our growing Asbestos Division, working across the Midlands Region of Ireland.

Location: Midlands Region, Ireland
Rate: €21.04 per hour
Position: Full-time

Role and responsibilities include:

Assisting with asbestos removal projects across commercial, public and private sectors
Setting up and maintaining asbestos work enclosures
Using and maintaining respiratory protective equipment (RPE) and PPE correctly
Positioning site equipment, signage, waste routes and transit routes
Handling, packaging and storing asbestos waste safely
Decontaminating plant, equipment and work areas
Following all Health & Safety procedures and asbestos regulations at all times

Requirements:

Previous experience in the construction industry
Basic knowledge of Health & Safety practices
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Reliable and able to work as part of a team
Asbestos experience or certifications are desirable, but not essential as full training can be provided for the right candidate

Please note: This role requires the use of full body PPE, including full face-fit respiratory masks, in line with strict safety regulations.

We are currently seeking an experienced Asbestos Supervisor to join our growing Asbestos Division, working across the Midlands Region of Ireland.

Position: Full-time
Salary: Negotiable

Role and responsibilities include:

Supervising and coordinating asbestos removal projects from start to completion
Planning asbestos works and ensuring projects are delivered safely and efficiently
Visiting sites to scope, assess and price new works, including domestic and commercial projects
Completing risk assessments, method statements and statutory notifications
Monitoring work quality and carrying out site inspections alongside the Health & Safety Manager
Ensuring compliance with Irish asbestos and Health & Safety legislation
Building strong relationships with clients and generating new business opportunities
Supporting asbestos removal activities where required

Requirements:

Previous experience within the asbestos industry is essential
Strong background in asbestos removals, contracts and site supervision
P402, P403, P404 or equivalent asbestos qualifications (desirable)
Good knowledge of Irish asbestos regulations and Health & Safety requirements
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Full, clean driving licence
Willingness to travel across Ireland

Trainee Thermal Insulation Engineer Needed

We are currently seeking a motivated Trainee Thermal Insulation Engineer to join our growing Engineering Team, working across Belfast, Carrickfergus and Larne.

Location: Belfast / Carrickfergus / Larne
Hours: Full-time
Rate: £12.71–£13.50 per hour (depending on experience)
Position: Trainee

Role and responsibilities include:

Installing and maintaining thermal insulation systems and cladding on pipework, vessels and equipment
Working with a variety of insulation materials, including mineral wool, PIR, phenolic and Armaflex
Removing and replacing insulation materials and carrying out repair works
Installing insulation finishes, including aluminium, stainless steel and galvanised steel cladding
Assisting with painting, encapsulation and weatherproofing insulation systems
Reading drawings and site specifications to complete work to a high standard
Working safely in industrial environments while following all Health & Safety procedures

Requirements:

GCSE Maths and English (Grade C or above)
An interest in engineering or construction
Good attention to detail and willingness to learn
Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
Good manual dexterity and practical skills
Able to use basic computer or handheld devices
Reliable with excellent communication skills

Planning, coordinating and supervising asbestos removal works
Preparing risk assessments, method statements and statutory notifications

Producing management reports in line with company procedures
