These grants will be receiving additional funding in April 2019, anyone wishing to apply will need to get in early as the funds usually run out quickly.
If your old oil boiler is over 15 years old or broken beyond economic repair, grants are now available to replace them. See details of two of these grants below:

1️⃣Energy Saving Home Assist
Heating and insulation measures include:
✅Grant of £1,500 towards cost of an oil or gas heating system.
✅Grant of £150 towards cost of insulation measures including cavity wall and loft insulation
✅Energy saving light-bulbs
✅Water Widget
✅Climote Remote Heating Control
✅Endotherm Central Heating Additive
These are available to low-income households with Economy 7 or solid fuel heating, no central heating or an old (over 15 years) or broken beyond viable repair oil, gas or LPG boiler. Must be homeowner or private tenant.
Income criteria:
Single person household with
income / pension less than
£28,000 gross OR
Couple/single parent family or
pensioner over 65 years with income / pension less than £40,000 gross

2️⃣️Energy Plus

✅Fully funded oil or gas heating system
✅Fully funded cavity wall insulation and/or loft insulation
✅Energy saving light-bulbs
✅Water Widget
✅Climote Remote Heating Control
✅Endotherm Central Heating Additive
These are available to low-income households with no heating, an oil or gas heating system broken beyond viable repair, Economy 7 or solid fuel heating. Must be homeowner or private tenant.
Income criteria:
Single person household with income / pension less than £23,000 gross OR
Couple/single parent family or pensioner over 65 years with income / pension less than £35,000 gross.
