To work on the technical aspects of dosimetry, giving technical input, supervising technical issues. Advising clients on dosimetry.

Specific responsibilities :
• Database management for Approved Dosimetry Record Keeping Service (RKS) including updating of software and database as required

As a trainee, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and knowledge in the field of radiation protection. You will do this by using specialist instruments to carry out monitoring of people, by taking surface and airborne contamination levels, and radiation dose rates, recording the readings detected and responding accordingly.

Purpose
· Function and source checking various types of radiation protection instrumentation.
