Drivers, Mechanics, and Mobile Tyre Fitters Required

Hi all,

The tourists have descended upon the Highlands of Scotland once again, so it’s time to recruit!

We have several positions available across two locations: Lochcarron Garage (IV54 8YS) and Dingwall Garage (IV15 9UG).

In the winter months we employ around 25 people, and this needs to rise to about 35 over the summer. Positions are available until the end of October, or on a full-time basis -we have both options.

Positions available:

3 x Drivers (HGV or Car + Trailer licence) – £15/hr + £1/hr bonus

2 x Drivers (7.5-ton Grandfather Licence – Pre-1997 test pass) – £15/hr + £1/hr bonus

1 x Tyre Fitter / Workshop Labourer – £15/hr + £1/hr bonus

2 x Mechanics – £19/hr

2 x Diagnostic Technicians – £21/hr

About the bonus:
The £1 per hour bonus is based on how well drivers look after the vehicles, carry out their duties, complete paperwork, etc.

Previous recovery experience is preferable for driving roles but not essential—full in-house training will be provided. Drivers must be based within 30 minutes of either location.

Accommodation:
If needed, we can provide a touring caravan (one person per caravan, no pets).
