Since the last update we have be pushing on, just not posting! Floor has been screeded and allowed to dry for 100 days. Covered the floor in Detra Matting, the floor tiles arrived and the pillar has now had 7 coats of paint! Been a busy December / January so far!

Back again! Couldn’t cope with the heat down south so came up to get away and get some more work done given the lack of progress due to the dreaded pandemic!

Didn’t want to miss out on the nice weather today so got a couple of steps laid for the patio and some of the path using the old floor stones that came out of the barn!

Solar slates have arrived for the extension roof but the first snow of the season yesterday meant a day inside.

Mezzanine floorboards laid instead and a bit more insulation in the roof. Got the scaffolding moved ready to start the slates.

Glorious day today but a bit cold so just some finishing touches on the main barn roof.

Another productive weekend on the roof and a big milestone achieved. The main barn roof is now finished even managed to get the guttering on the front! Now we just have to wait for the Solar Slates to arrive before we can get the extension roof done.

Making good progress in between the rain showers. Fire suppression guys will be onsite for the first fix tomorrow.
