In-depth knowledge of solar PV systems, components, and regulations

We're Hiring AGAIN!

We are seeking an experienced Approved Electrician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both domestic and commercial electrical installations, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience in renewable energy systems (such as solar PV, EV charging, or battery storage) is highly desirable, though full training can be provided for the right applicant.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out electrical installation, maintenance, and testing works in domestic and commercial environments

Ensure all work complies with current BS7671 Wiring Regulations and company standards

Lead small teams on-site, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency are maintained

Work collaboratively with other trades and clients to deliver projects on time and to specification

Complete necessary documentation, test certificates, and reports accurately

Support and mentor apprentices or less experienced electricians

Requirements:

Approved Electrician status (e.g. JIB Gold Card, NVQ Level 3, AM2, or equivalent)

18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations qualification

2391 (or equivalent) Testing and Inspection certification preferred

Proven experience in domestic and commercial electrical works

Full UK driving licence

Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

Desirable:

Experience or interest in renewable energy technologies (solar PV, EV charging, battery systems)

ECS/CSCS card and relevant health & safety training
