Unfortunately I had to condemn this customers boiler Christmas Eve as it had failed and leaked all over the floor! With a bit of a bodge up to get over Christmas I managed to swap it out quickly for this Grant Vortex Pro utility 15-26.
It certainly fitted back in the same place well and with a 10 year guarantee and upgraded system the customer is happy! 😅

Nothing special here; just an upgrade to a hot water cylinder that was thought to be around 40 years old this week, it’s not quite a record for me but still nearly unheard of in Dorset with our hard water! Spaces available in the coming weeks so keep your enquiries coming in 😊

This larger property was originally fed from a borehole supply, the local water authority couldn’t guarantee more than 1.5 bar from the mains so this was the solution:
A Grundfos home booster with additional water storage and a Monarch Scale-out for whole house limescale protection.
Installed in the cellar underneath the house
Now guaranteed 3.5 bar pressure to every tap in the house. 👌🏻

Only I would decide to do an outside boiler in this weather for the last 2 days!
Waterproofs on and grinned and beared it!
Customer now has continuous hot water on demand and lots more space inside with this Grant Pro External Combi complete with 5 year warranty 👌🏻

Went to installer live yesterday to see the unveiling of the brand new Vaillant ecotec plus range. Also signed up for Vaillant advance so I will be offering extended warranties on all new Vaillant boiler installations.
