🚨 New Project 🚨
The Ground Stabilisation Solutions team are currently working alongside Champion Groundworks to facilitate the recycling of circa 6,000m³ of otherwise unsuitable site-won fills at The Acorns, Honiton.
We will also be utilising a further 2,500m³ of site-won soils for capping and sub-base replacement, significantly reducing both the cost of site muckaway operations and the importation of quarried materials.
The brownfield site, formerly a farmyard with challenging ground conditions, will eventually deliver 37 new homes to complement the previous development constructed by Baker Estates.
Following one of the wettest winters on record, the drying and stabilisation of the existing site soils has proven to be the ideal solution to maintain progress and keep the project moving efficiently.
