Great to kick off the MRLP Shared Education Technology and Design Programme, where we recently hosted Year 10 T&D students from Rainey Endowed School and St Patrick's College, Maghera at the Tillie and Henderson site.

It was brilliant to see how quickly the students got stuck in. They went from never having met to sharing ideas and bringing their designs to life.

A real highlight of the day was getting out onto site, giving the students a clear insight into how their learning links to live projects.

Last week as part of NI Apprenticeship Week 2026, Chloe & Sarah attended the CITB Northern Ireland event at W5 Belfast

This informative & interactive event promoted construction apprenticeships & careers to over 160 students from 8 schools in the Greater Belfast area. Students were able to ask questions & have a go at our interactive table top activity of constructing a door...Not just as easy as it may have looked 🤭

Sarah finished the year with some festive fun at Bunscoil Cholmcille & Naíscoil Dhoire primary 5-7s and Steelstown Primary School and Nursery Unit primary 5s delivering Christmas STEAM workshops.

Last week Chloe and Sarah attended the STEMstruct event at Queen's PEC in Belfast.

This event showcased the works of over 500 pupils from across the Belfast Area! Each school displayed their very own "Towns of the Future" - filled with innovative, creative and impressive solutions to issues such as energy consumption, community engagement, healthcare and material usage.

We were very impressed on the day and a huge well done to each of the winners and indeed every participant.

Chloe & Sarah had a great day attending the MEGA Explore Engineering Expo yesterday.

An interactive day was had meeting Year 10s from various different schools and getting them to complete our "Seal the Deal (in 60 seconds)" and "Ultimate Support Challenge" games, the future is bright in construction & engineering with lots of winners on the day.
