We’ve been working on a retrofit project on housing stock for ateb Group at Westcourt in Angle, Pembrokeshire.

New solar PV and battery storage installation completed in Forest Coal Pit, Abergavenny.

This system combines 8 × AIKO Neostar 2S panels with a Fox ESS EVO10 5kW inverter and 10.24kWh battery storage, designed to maximise self-consumption, reduce electricity bills, and provide reliable energy throughout the day.

With added whole-home backup capability, the customer also benefits from protection during power cuts.

Modern ASHP's run with no rumbling, no disruption - just efficient, low-carbon heating working quietly in the background!

Take the Vaillant aroTHERM plus for example, this heat pump runs at just 45–54 dB in normal operation - that’s quieter than a modern fridge and similar to light rainfall! In quiet mode, it can drop to around 38 dB, and at distance it becomes as soft as a ticking clock.

From July, the Boiler Upgrade Scheme grant for Heat Pumps will increase to £9,000 (previously £7,500) for eligible households replacing oil or LPG boilers.

The £7,500 (Heat Pump) or £5,000 (Biomass) grant will remain available for all other eligible heating system replacements.
