Believe it or not this garage build was completed in December 2012, nearly 13 years old, we think it has weathered in perfectly with the original house that is hundreds of years old.

This was a great project to complete as it shows how you can reuse old stones to match in with the original time period and in turn that helps promoting sustainable building practices.

Check the old van. It feels like forever since we were driving about in it. 🤣

He is an excellent tradesman, takes great pride in his work and produces top quality workmanship, just like his papa, his dad and Liam!

We completed this job a few months ago and it turned out great! We especially like the sandstone coppings.

There was previously tarmac all the way to the edge of the house, with no drainage, causing water to pool against the house.

The job was to dig the tarmac out and then build a small wall with drainage channels to take the water away. We also filled it in with red chips which allows water to disperse through into the ground.

This project is nearing its end and we think it has transformed the back of the house! What do you think?
