Asher Associates Ltd are delighted to have delivered civil and structural engineering design services on this project, we are enjoying watching the project take shape and hope that this will provide a fantastic asset to the community.

Things are really starting to take shape inside the Lockerbie Enterprise Hub!

This bright space will soon become one of the offices in the building, designed to provide local businesses, freelancers and organisations with a welcoming place to work, meet and grow.

Seeing the rooms come together like this is a reminder of how far the project has come. Before long, these spaces will be filled with ideas, conversations and collaboration.

We’re looking forward to sharing more progress as the building moves closer to opening.

We were pleased to attend the opening of the Lowther & District Men's shed in Leadhills yesterday. We provided civil and structural engineering services to this fantastic project which we hope will benefit members of a remote community for many years to come. Best of luck to Nigel, Bob and the team!

DAVID HARDIE ENGINEERING LTD ARE HIRING!

Due to an ever increasing workload and in addition to our recent advert for an experienced buyer we are now also on the look out for an experienced Construction Site Engineer to join our commercial team based here in Dumfries.

The role would be to work as part of a predominantly site based team to manage the technical compliance of projects to design specification and fulfil the project requirements safely, on time and to the required quality.

The candidate would ideally have previous experience in setting out on civil engineering projects and working on construction sites with site supervision experience. They should be able to set out and level, have sound knowledge of construction methods, health and safety and legal regulations. They should have a fundamental understanding of Bills of Quantities, be fully conversant with the use of robotic total station instruments and other surveying equipment and have experience of using AutoCAD.

Relevant industry qualifications, CSCS cards and full driving licence would be required.

The job would be a full-time permanent position with a competitive salary to be agreed in person.

From 4pm till 7pm our staff and young people from our youth theatre will show you round the new facilities, they are very excited!

Everyone is welcome to pop in and view the newly renovated building at 8-16 High Street.

Our fully accessible building is a community hub serving Upper Nithsdale, where individuals can learn new skills, meet friends and express their creativity. Come and see what we can offer you!
