Well it's Day Three at the Royal Highland Show at Ingliston and it's been brilliant so far. Saltire Gates is without doubt a family business and the staffing has reflected that! Yesterday we had Graeme and Moira helping Davie chat to customers about his automated gates and Akuvox intercoms, and today we have Eva and Rhian rolling up their sleeves. It's been a great year so far - loads of interest, great weather, and an impressive response to what we have on offer. Tomorrow is Day Four - the last day - and it'll be Jo and Rory helping out on the stand.

Look at this stunning gate our David Scott designed and made for a lovely florist's shop in Edinburgh - Broughton Street Flowers, owned by Dunbar florist Ellen Wilson. Our client wanted a style and finish to complement the colour scheme and feel of the shop and is over the moon with the result. Have a look if you're passing. 😊

We have finally had time to take a breath after the crazy four days that was the Royal Highland Show. And how appropriate that we should be celebrating one whole year in business too! It's been a very busy and successful 12 months and we are excited about some amazing projects to come and maybe even a wee holiday, who knows🤞😊

Absolutely brilliant first day at the Royal Highland Show, Ingliston. Full-on enquiries from the off - we were relieved we had our fantastic volunteer sales staff who kept it rolling like a well-oiled machine! On our way home now and shattered...only 3 days to go apparently 🙈🤣

It's been a really busy time getting our automated gates made and ready to display at our business stand at the Royal Highland Show, from Thursday 20th until Sunday 23rd June, at Ingliston. Set up will be completed this time tomorrow. We will be exhibiting on the Floral Walkway to the west of the Main Ring. Come and find us!

We are so excited about Saltire Gates' first Royal Highland Show as an exhibitor next month - between Thursday 20th and Sunday the 23rd of June. Come and see us! We will be situated on the Floral Walkway, at the west side of the main ring. Fingers crossed for some sunny and dry weather! 🤞🤞Further updates to come.

Have a look at this wee project we've been working on at a house in The Grange, Edinburgh.The customer was wanting a high-quality timber gate and panel to replace an old one, so we supplied and fitted this with solid kiln-dried oak boards, which were given three coats of Polyvine oil. The gate was fitted with a Borg keypad lock for security, and a Locinox Tiger self-closer. The end result looked great, and the customer was delighted. Happy days.
