Our Dunmow facility is supplied with 100% renewable energy, this means that we can ensure that our products can be produced from 100% renewable energy.

The Gosfield off-grid manufacturing site utilises 44,976 solar panels and an anaerobic digester, saving 165,000 tonnes of carbon over the next 25 years

We are committed to play our part in more sustainable construction, this means using renewable and recyclable materials as much as is possible when building new structures, as well as reducing energy consumption and waste. The overall goal of this approach is to reduce the industry’s impact on the environment.

Demonstrating our value and commitment to a greener future and enabling our partners and customers to provide this value when using our Flexi designed products within their building projects, which includes stairs, balconies and balustrades.

Our Flexi Stair solution provided multiple benefits to the overall build with key efficiencies - enhanced safety, accuracy and speed-of-installation.

Flexi Group worked collaboratively with our supply-chain partners, Multiplex and Byrne Bros. (Formwork) Ltd., on the successful installation of our Flexi Stairs, which provided multiple benefits of speed, safety and efficiency in coordination with the super-structure frame. Flexi Group Limited were involved with the Damac Towers project from January 2018 to January 2020.

𝐅𝐥𝐞𝐱𝐢 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩 𝐔𝐊 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐲 𝐅𝐚𝐛𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐝 𝐭𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐢𝐟𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐆𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠.

The Christmas Tree shows the food gifts that we are donating to a value of £300 for the local Uttlesford Food Bank. We love to support our local communities every year to help those struggling especially at this time.

One story of how the local Food Bank really helps others is demonstrated with this one heartwarming story of Holly. Having always worked and never claimed benefits, Holly was working 2 jobs, including running a shop and bringing up her four-year-old daughter alone.

When her daughter became poorly and had to spend time in hospital, she was forced to close the shop temporarily. When her daughter had recovered, they returned home to empty kitchen cupboards, bills racking up and no income to support them.

Seeing the two iconic spires is breath-taking! To think of how these buildings would have been built in different era's gone by and to how much faster things need to be developed and installed today.

This is our view from the top of where Flexi’s Light Gauge Structural Wall has now been installed, climbing to the 7th Floor of the North Elevation and East elevations.

The project involved new technology with the Flexi Light Gauge Structural Wall substituting pre-cast and block work options. Key values of the project were increased speed and ease-of-installation.

This is just one of our off-site modular products, designed to bring multiple benefits from our energy-neutral production facility in Essex.

Flexi are enjoying working with the main contractor and architect to ensure that the stair design meets their specific requirements to be featured over 3 continuous tiers of stair tread risers.

We have been working hard on the designs of the entrance stair, which will be featured in the foyer to the atrium.

Utilising our BIM compliant CAD modelling to design the stairs to ensure a taper span at the widest point to over 6 meter in length and just under 10 metres wide.

We look forward to sharing the finished tapered stairs with you in early 2022.

With the focus on 𝐂𝐎𝐏𝟐𝟔 this week, we felt that by sharing our approach we hope to simplify and inspire others that may feel overwhelmed as to where to start, because we understand that working together within and across our industries will help to solve these issues with greater solutions to zero carbon even sooner.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲-𝗼𝘂𝘁𝘀:

The focus is on ‘cities’ as a system, or ‘hub’ that needs to work together to make the carbon changes to have a real impact. All providers in the supply-chain need to play their part, to enable change at a pace, scale and then integrate this together to address pressing global challenges to the environment and health.

Map your current carbon footprint now, then create a vision, understand your science-based targets needed to deliver the vision and communicate this. Flexi Group have initiated their current carbon footprint mapping and the summary detail can be found below.

Energy systems and buildings need to dramatically reduce their energy demand, transport systems require radical overhaul. Modular build is one important part of the solution.

We can produce many of our products within the UK’s first carbon-neutral off-grid production facility. The solar farm will save 165,000 tonnes of carbon over the next 25 years and produces clean renewable electricity to power approximately 3,545 homes.

World Su***de Prevention Day is held each year by the International Association for Su***de Prevention https://lnkd.in/e9MCe5Pu This year’s theme is ‘𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝗼𝗽𝗲 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻’.

‘𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝗼𝗽𝗲 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻’ is a reminder that there is an alternative to su***de and aims to inspire confidence and light in all of us; that our actions, no matter how big or small, may provide hope to those who are struggling. Preventing su***de is often possible and you are a key player in its prevention. Through action, you can make a difference to someone in their darkest moments - we can all play a role in supporting those experiencing a suicidal crisis or those bereaved by su***de.

𝗪𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝗽𝗲 𝗯𝘆 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲. All of us can play a role, no matter how small. We may never know what we do that makes a difference. We all can reach in and ask somebody. You do not need to tell them what to do or have solutions, but simply making the time and space to listen to someone about their experiences of distress or suicidal thoughts can help. Small talk can save lives and create a sense of connection and hope in somebody who may be struggling.

The Samaritans have put together tips to stay hopeful which has never been more important given the last 18 months has tested everyone in more ways than one.
