Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Setting Out Engineer to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a wide range of construction projects, ensuring foundations and structures are accurately set out, surveyed and checked before and during construction.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Setting out building foundations and structures from construction drawings
✅ Measuring and surveying existing structures and site features
✅ Checking existing buildings and steelwork for dimensional accuracy against drawings
✅ Producing accurate site measurements, levels and survey data
✅ Marking out works using GPS and surveying equipment
✅ Identifying and reporting discrepancies between drawings and site conditions
✅ Liaising with site teams, project managers and clients
✅ Maintaining accurate records, survey information and as-built data

🚜 We're Hiring – 360 Excavator Operator

As one of Scotland’s leading suppliers to the agricultural, industrial and commercial sectors, we are looking for someone with experience operating 360 excavators, dumpers, rollers and other plant machinery on a variety of sites.

Key duties include:

✔️ Earth moving, excavation and grading works
✔️ Ground preparation and drainage installation
✔️ Concrete and shed site preparation
✔️ Reading technical drawings and using laser levels
✔️ Daily machine inspections and maintenance checks
✔️ Operating machinery safely and efficiently
✔️ Assisting with general site duties when required

Essential requirements:

✅ Valid NPORS/CPCS 360 Excavator Operator card
✅ Experience operating plant equipment
✅ Good understanding of health and safety procedures
✅ Reliable with excellent timekeeping
✅ Willingness to work as part of a team
