More fun and games this week, few less breakdowns meant I got some scheduled work done but big thanks to everyone waiting for jobs in the book, never did I imagine the amount of work coming through the door.
It would be boring if it was all organised though🫣

Back at it after a week away, and it's all about repairs this week, not so much new metal getting cut as bashing and pulling things back into shape and keeping things going. A real mix of things through the doors, so thanks to all the boys and girls putting the hours in this harvest, keep breaking things and I will try and fix them🙏

Another busy week, with a full week in the diary and the breakdowns through the door it was more like 2 weeks but as always I'm grateful for the support, you know when you wake up to a wet morning in harvest that the phone will be busy and it didn't disappoint 🤣

Had a run out tonight to see the wuffler in action, having helped with the r**e straw it's now well over 400 acres into the wheat.
Making a tidy job of splitting the 40 foot swath left from the combine, and reducing the waiting time before the baler can get at it.

Not sure how it can be another week already!

Another full week and very grateful for all the work, grabbing hours here and there between breakdowns on a bigger project fitting a grass seed kit on a cultivator, and a day inside some tractor wheels that needed the welds cut out and rewelded.

Variety, the spice of life

Certainly been some variation this week, whether you are turning something for an interference fit, or repairing farm gates you just have to adapt to the task.

Several smaller jobs squeezed in between the planned work and some breakdowns but that's the way we like it

Was asked to make this device when a customer was in collecting a job 'can you knock this up as we need it in the morning'
I think the forklift driving is more impressive than my fabrication in this project. Looks like it will save some time crawling about with a knife

Many mickles make a muckle

Lots of projects this week, great to see so many jobs coming through the door and a good variety which is most welcome whilst the farmers are all busy harvesting.

A repair on a livestock trailer rear door which as always turns into something a little bigger than anticipated but with new bushes made and installed it will be much quieter on the bumpy roads again.

Will put before and after pictures of some of the jobs through the week

As always thanks for the support
