As always I have been quiet for a while but gratefully for very good reason. I’ve had what has been my best years trading and managed to tackle a high profile 9 mould project implementing a high level of modifications across all 9 moulds the company made over a decade ago. Thankfully all the moulds trailed well and the mouldings passed inspection with flying colours.

In the background I have been working multiple different projects including mods, repairs and a 2 Impression production ready prototype tool (pictured below) supplied with interchangeable sliders to enable the moulder to quickly switch between the differing types of exterior detail. Assistance as always from the every faithful Nick Phillips applying the required high gloss polish to the cores.

With this mould now complete and ready for trials, I’m now concentrating on getting some of the smaller jobs out the door in preparation to begin the design of a 4 off Aluminum over-mould tooling project that has been ordered recently.

As always I’m extremely grateful to be keeping busy 💪

Another overmoulding tool is just about to head out the door and off to a new customer. As always, but particularly this mould has been a privilege to be involved in as it is for such a prestigious customer, and to be trusted to design manufacture this mould on behalf of one of the top manufacturers in their field in the world was a huge honour indeed.

I’ve been rather quiet on here for a while but for very good reason. I’ve kept my head down due to the sheer volume of work that I have had the last 3 months, which as always I am incredibly grateful for. Pictures attached are of 2 overmoulding tools completed for my amazing loyal customers.

Sadly I can not reveal too much detail for obvious reasons, but as you can see that even from the outside the tools are made, as always, to my very high standards, with every care in the world taken to not only provide the best functioning moulds I can but also to not lose sight of how important presentation is.

Completed yet another tool. This one was a slow burner due to commitments to other projects. This mould was a complete remake of the fixed half to enable me to provide the customer with the luxury of swapping the fixed half inserts quickly whilst still warm in the press, with a specially developed core pin removal system and slide front insert removal so that the customer can switch between moulding their differing variants in minutes as opposed to hours.

This is a tried, tested and proven method for this customer, so much so that all the tools I have designed and manufactured for them over the years have adopted this system, whether designed from new or in this case, a heavy conversion.

As always the presentation to me means just as much as the tolerance’s and function and those that know me always know I go the extra mile, even at my cost, to provide the best tooling I possibly can. Pleased to say I am happy with the result as was the customer upon collection ❤️I managed to finish this project just in time for the hot weather to arrive as I’ve got a full week ahead of me sat in the air conditioned office designing 4 more injection moulds that have been ordered in the past week. Delighted to be keeping busy 💪

Finished this latest mould end of last week. Took longer than I’d hoped but happy with the result. Been lucky enough to of received a big order today for 2 new moulds. 8-10 week moulds so plenty to be getting on with which I’m delighted about 😝💪
