Another project completed… 👊

A full transformation completed in just 3 days.

We removed the existing patio doors, bricked up the opening, installed new French doors and a window, carried out all associated plastering and internal making good, installed a new socket, repaired the existing coving and completely refurbished the staircase.

The end result has completely changed the feel of the room, creating a more practical living space for the family.

It’s always great to hear how pleased our customers are, and we’re looking forward to returning soon to carry out their extension.

🚨 Progress Update 🚨

We are making serious progress on our bungalow-to-house transformation project! 🏡

What started as a tired old 2-bedroom bungalow is now well on its way to becoming a large family home.

This huge transformation has involved constructing a complete timber frame first-floor extension. We erected the new frame and roof around the existing bungalow, keeping the original structure intact until the new shell was fully watertight before cutting out the inside.

We’re now ready for the external silicone render, the upstairs is almost ready for plastering, and the new family bathroom has been installed to allow us to remove part of the original bathroom and create space for the new staircase next week.

It’s been a challenging project, but seeing it all come together makes it worthwhile.

The finish on this one is going to be something special 👊🏻

Project throwback 🔨🏡

A look back at one of last year’s big projects — a complete hip-to-gable transformation with a full new roof structure.

This one was a serious structural job from the ground up:
✔️ Full strip back
✔️ Extensive steel framework installed
✔️ Brand-new timber roof structure
✔️ Structural alterations throughout
✔️ Major internal reconfiguration

The project was delivered in phases, allowing the client to move forward step by step — and this phase laid all the critical groundwork for what’s coming next.

We’ll be back on site soon to:
➡️ Fit the kitchen
➡️ Complete further internal works
➡️ Bring the space fully to life

Big transformations don’t happen overnight — they’re built properly, layer by layer. Looking forward to finishing this one off and sharing the final result.

BEFORE
This property had a layout that no longer suited modern family living, with limited space and flow. The aim was to significantly increase usable living space and create a home that works better day to day.

DURING
Over a 21-week build (including a 2-week break over Christmas 🎄), we completed a part double rear & side extension and part single rear extension, transforming the property inside and out.

Works included:
• Demolition of existing rear areas
• Groundworks and new foundations
• Structural alterations and steel installation
• Construction of a part double rear & side extension
• Construction of a single rear extension
• Brickwork carefully matched to the existing house
• New roofing, drainage, windows and doors

Internally, this allowed for the creation of:
• A spacious new kitchen & dining area
• A utility room
• A new family bathroom
• A new master bedroom with en-suite

AFTER
The result is a bright, modern home with greatly improved space, layout, and functionality — designed around how the homeowners actually live.
