Caring for war memorials with the DOFF system.

Good to see WP Everingham & Sons Ltd using DOFF system to clean a war memorial, gently and respectfully.

The DOFF system cleans with superheated steam. The heat removes moss, lichen and algae and kills the spores, all without damaging the stone. Because it works at comparatively low pressure, unlike jet washing, it does not drive water into the surface, and the heat means it evaporates quickly.

There is no need for bleach or other chemicals. Those can be absorbed into the stone and keep reacting long after the cleaning is finished, which risks damaging the very surface you are trying to protect.

A big congratulations to Lincs EcoBuild, who have just completed their DOFF certification training here at Stonehealth.

After a few days with the team getting to know the system, they are now certified to offer specialist DOFF cleaning across their masonry projects. Great to have them on board, and we look forward to seeing the results on site.

💨 DOFF A steam-based, superheated water system that reaches up to 150°C at the nozzle. It removes paint, biological matter and general grime without causing harm or shock to the surface underneath, with temperature and pressure both adjustable.

🌀 TORC A gentle swirling vortex, created by a specially designed nozzle that combines low volumes of water, fine inert granulate and air. A sensitive, efficient way to clean masonry, and an evolution of the Jos system we introduced over 20 years ago.

Good to see our DOFF system on site with Carter's Restoration Services in Ramsey.

Carter's used it to remove all the paint from the front of this property. The paint was non-breathable and had been trapping moisture in the walls, which was causing the owner ongoing damp problems.

Stripping it back with the DOFF system lets the masonry breathe again, while the surface underneath stays protected throughout. No harsh chemicals, no damage to the brickwork.

This building in Belgravia had built up years of dirt, grime and atmospheric pollution, leaving the original brickwork looking tired and discoloured.

We're building the next-generation Skid Mount from the ground up, with contractors firmly in mind: more efficient, more reliable and easier to use on site.

Before we lock in the design, we want to hear from the people who know it best: you. New features, easier servicing, better transport, smarter controls: if there's something you've always wanted it to do, now's the time to tell us.

We haven't settled on a name yet either. Should it stay the DOFF Skid Mount, or become something new? (DOFF Grid is one option in the running.)

There's no commitment, and everyone who registers gets priority updates ahead of launch.

One machine, more places you can clean.

The DOFF Recovery System (DRS) opens up the DOFF Integra for jobs where you cannot leave water and steam behind, such as internal cleaning.

It uses a stainless steel hooded lance, a high-grade silicone sealing interface and a vacuum unit to capture all the steam, water and debris as you clean, so nothing is left on the floor or the surrounding surface.

Paired with its long, high-temperature hose, the DRS lets you work up to 20 metres from the Integra itself, so the machine can stay put while you reach the areas that matter.
