Role Overview
We are seeking a reliable, hands-on Modular Belt Assembly Worker to join our team at our workshop in Rennie Place. In this role, you will assemble plastic modular conveyor belting to customer specifications, ensure quality control, and assist with general workshop preparation.
Key Working Details
Location: Unit 4a Rennie Place, College Milton, East Kilbride, G74 5HD
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 16:30 (37.5 hours/week)
Overtime: Available as and when business requirements demand
Environment: Friendly, small-team, and low-stress workshop setting
Key Responsibilities
Measure, cut, and assemble plastic modular conveyor belting using hand tools and specialist equipment according to job sheets.
Inspect finished belts to guarantee accurate dimensions and high quality.
Pack, label, and prepare completed products for courier dispatch or customer collection.
Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workshop environment.
Support general inventory receiving and stock organization.
Requirements & Skills
Practical Mindset: Comfortable using basic hand tools and measuring equipment accurately.
Attention to Detail: Precision is essential to ensure custom belt dimensions match customer specifications.
Work Ethic: Punctual, dependable, and capable of working well independently or alongside a small team.
Physical Fitness: Involves standing, lifting, and manual dexterity for assembling components throughout the day.
Previous experience in production, assembly, or mechanical environments is a bonus, but full training will be provided.
