To assist the Procurement Manager in ensuring the procurement
responsibilities are carried out to meet the needs of the business.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Liaising with stores for specific daily stock counts.
Daily system stock adjustments once count has been done.
Creating purchase orders from count sheets/checks.
Adjusting system if Order Acknowledgment has an updated price.
Be familiar with supplier parts & supplier ordering dates.
As required carry out end of day stock allocation process for daily jobs/errors with BOMs
Be familiar with a complex stock system that needs constant updates with new parts, prices, and stock levels.
Place ad-hoc orders for consumable items on the web using credit cards.
Attend supplier meetings to familiarise with reps as well as take minutes.
Review and implement changes in the stock system
Implement and improve new /existing Service Level Agreements (SLA)
Assist with New Product Introduction
Report and analyse supplier under performance via agreed SLA
Advise on all stock shortfalls and incorrect supply from manufactures to the Manager.
Pro-actively seek opportunities for change within the supply chain.
Report inventory & demand issues within the stock system
