The firm has over 100 years combined experience of structural and civil engineering projects, locally in Eastbourne and Sussex, and throughout the UK. Springett Associates was formed in 1991 as a home office, employing only Oliver Springett and a single draughtsman. In 1993 the firm moved to its first office in Cornfield Lane and later to Gildredge Road before finally settling in Hyde Gardens wher
e we have been for the last 16 years. The firm has grown significantly since its inception, employing Chartered Engineers, and is capable of dealing with any project with our extensive experience and state of the art CAD software and printers. Modern computer design methods are employed and all drawings are produced on our CAD system thus providing good quality cost effective drawings and readily transferable and adaptable design information. We understand both small and large projects, allowing us to work closely with the client whilst giving consideration to funding issues and always providing high quality engineering design. The firm is aware of the need to deal sympathetically with the client’s method of working and the need to produce viable designs. With this in mind, we endeavour to provide innovative and economic designs at all times, whether the project is a small extension or a large scale new build. We also carry out structural engineer’s surveys and provide reports on such common issues as subsidence, underpinning and cracking.
