Looksee is a augmented reality navigator app for iPhones and iPads. It is used to find places of interest directly within your camera's view and add interest to your adventures and tours. The first version is for Edinburgh and the Lothians and locates places in 3D in and around Edinburgh City Centre, the wider Edinburgh Area and the Pentland Hills. It reaches a rectangle stretching to North Berwic
k at it's northern most edge, east past Dunbar, west past Whitburn and south past West Linton. Categories include Tourist Attractions, Hills, Lakes, Parks & Woodlands, Cities, Towns, Suburban Areas, Villages & Hamlets, Airports, Train & Bus Stations, Municipal Buildings, Places of Worship, Historic Sites and Museums & Arts. Totaling around 3,000 places in all (and growing!). It includes a selector for which categories you wish to view and a distance bar for a depth of view.
