We are proud to announce that TenCate ’s Pure PT™️ One, offered through the TigerTurf portfolio, is the first turf system to achieve certification under the FIH DualSport Turf programme, the joint standard developed by the Int Hockey Federation (FIH) and FIFA defining what a surface must deliver for both hockey and football.

With this certification, Pure PT™️ One meets FIH requirements while aligning with FIFA Basic criteria, making it an optimal solution for schools and community clubs. Engineered to deliver consistent ball roll, predictable player-surface interaction and long-term durability, Evo Pro has become a trusted choice for education, club and performance environments across the UK.

From daily curriculum use and training sessions through to competitive fixtures, the pitch is built to perform consistently throughout the year.

The opening was made even more special by the presence of Julen Cruijff, grandson of Johan Cruyff, highlighting the lasting impact of a legacy that continues to inspire new generations through sport.

Supported by players of and delivered alongside partners including and the project demonstrates what can be achieved when organisations come together around a shared vision for community wellbeing and participation.

Today marks a significant moment for the future of football turf. ⚽

has officially confirmed that non-infill artificial turf systems are now eligible for FIFA Quality certification, a major step forward for innovation within the game and for the next generation of sports surfaces.

For and this represents years of research, development and performance validation behind systems such as Pure PT, our advanced non-infill surface designed to replicate the behaviour, response and play characteristics of elite natural grass while reducing maintenance intensity and eliminating performance infill.

Powered by the TenCate Centre for Turf Innovation, Pure PT has been developed through extensive athlete testing, biomechanical research and natural grass benchmarking, with a clear focus on player welfare, surface consistency and long-term sustainability.

Two hockey pitches at both built on our (FIH) certified Evo Pro surface. 🏑

Delivered in partnership with Evo Pro was selected for its advanced yarn technology, engineered to maintain consistent ball response and player performance across changing weather conditions, an important factor in Sedbergh’s Cumbrian setting.

Designed to meet the demands of competitive school hockey, the system delivers the durability, response and surface consistency required at every level of play, from first team fixtures through to daily training and PE provision.

With two full-size pitches now in place, the school is supported by facilities built for a full hockey programme alongside wider community use, year-round.

A great project to be part of, and a strong addition to the school’s sporting infrastructure.
