George Watson’s School Project

We are pleased to share the before-and-after pictures of our first and second fix joinery work at George Watson’s School.

In this project, we transformed a large existing space into five modern new rooms, designed to enhance both learning and functionality.

The highlight of the build was the Learning Hub (main room), which was a joy to see evolve throughout the project. One of our favourite features is the circular ceiling design, which floods the space with natural light and creates an inspiring environment for students.

The new rooms include:
• One large Learning Hub
• Two new Classrooms
• Two Computer/Office Rooms

We are proud of the transformation and how the space has been reimagined to support the school’s growing needs.

Continuing on with our London Street project 👷‍♂️✨
This bathroom wasn’t just about fitting new finishes—it also housed the main drainage stack for the entire building. Years of patchwork repairs had weakened the original stone walls, so we stepped in with a smarter solution.

We built a custom steel column to take the load from above, keeping the structure safe and secure, while also giving us the space we needed to run brand-new drainage pipes neatly and effectively.

Before & After: En-Suite Bathroom
Transformation - at our London Street Project

This stunning en-suite bathroom forms part of our complete renovation for a 200-year-old property. Originally accessed from the hallway as the main bathroom, we reimagined the layout entirely-blocking off the old entrance and creating a new doorway directly from the master bedroom, transforming it into a private, luxury en-suite.
As with many period properties, the renovation posed several technical challenges. The original walls and floors were far from level, requiring us to fully frame the room-ceiling, walls, and floor-to ensure a clean, square finish suitable for modern fittings. Significant subsidence over the years had also left many of the original drainage runs sloping in the wrong direction, so the floor framing had to accommodate proper gradients for effective plumbing.

The end result is a beautifully designed space featuring:
• Underfloor heating
• Full tile coverage for durability and elegance
• Bespoke rose brass fixtures throughout
• A custom-built, large mirror with integrated demister
pad

Every element was carefully considered to make the best use of space and blend period character with modern luxury. The transformation has not only improved the functionality of the room but also elevated the overall feel of the master suite.
Our client was thrilled with the final result—and we couldn't be prouder of the craftsmanship delivered by our team.

We've recently completed the painting work at our London Street basement project. Our client decided to refresh their property after we finished their bathroom renovation.

We completed internal painting of the ceiling, walls, and woodwork. We also did external painting of the windows, back door, and front door.

Excited to show some of the before and after picture from the a bathroom project we completed on London Street in Edinburgh.

After finishing a large house renovation for a client, their neighbors approached our team to completely overhaul one of their main bathrooms. This was an older Edinburgh basement property, and it presented some unique challenges with uneven walls and years of previous, less-than-ideal work. We stripped multiple layers of plasterboard and old cabling, getting right back to the original stonework, before starting fresh.

You can see the transformation in the before and after pictures attached. What was once a challenging space is now a very cozy and clean bathroom.
