Tomorrow, will be at the Offshore Wind Transmission Europe Conference 2026 in Amsterdam.

Xi CEO, Dr Mark-Paul Buckingham, will be representing Xi on the day.

Europe’s offshore wind pipeline is scaling fast, and transmission is where ambition meets reality: subsea cable risk, consenting pressure, and the need for engineering decisions that stay defensible with regulators and financiers.

Mark-Paul will be keen to connect with teams working on:

Floating offshore wind is scaling quickly. Understanding its acoustic and environmental footprint is essential.

At the recent Floating Offshore Wind event in Aberdeen, SAMS () shared new insights from the FLOWN-MIT project, highlighting how different platform designs influence underwater noise and marine impact.

Xi’s contribution: detailed structural–acoustic modelling of platforms such as Kincardine, Hywind Scotland, and Hywind Tampen, helping provide the evidence base for responsible deployment. 🌊⚡
