Good progress on replacement of ward windows at West Cumberland Hospital with scaffolding erected by Big Red Scaffolding Cumbria Ltd. and window installations underway by Energy Efficient Window Systems

Works are progressing across several floors, starting at the top and working down. Fortunately, the upper floors are unoccupied, which helps reduce disruption as the installation progresses.

We remain in regular contact with the NHS team to ensure any impact on live wards is carefully managed and kept to a minimum while the works continue.

Erecting and delivering the scaffolding required careful logistical planning to maintain safe and continuous access to key hospital areas throughout the works.

been surprisingly busy for the time of year!

Some decent jobs have gone up..

Church went up in Workington and had the gleesons site with a good mix of work💪🏾

Then all the dismantling In-between them builds🤯 not a bad January!

Never pictured myself taking that top half and delivering it with my own company all these years later love it,

Onto the next! 2026 going in hard this year! Another wagon with the 2 18tonners

Want to take a moment to shine a spotlight on one of our own, the trainee, Dylan Hayton

Dylan joined Big Red Scaffolding Cumbria Ltd two years ago when he was only just leaving school, 6 weeks holidays waiting to go college, he come to try a couple of days Scaffolding

Today, at 18, he has achieved a massive personal and professional milestone passing his COTS afew months back, and Part 1 qualification 6 months after that!

His passion for the job, positive attitude, and willingness to learn is phenomenal, couldn't of got a better trainee.

Been great to watch you grow into a skilled and reliable scaffolder,
your dedication doesn't go unnoticed look forward to seeing what you accomplish next, well Done Dyl keep it up!🤝

Some work recently completed!

For the time of year still getting them up!

Couldn't be more greatful to each of my clients for the continued work the whole year around just about🤝

Got alot of new customers who have started using me aswell so thank you to you also! Each job counts on this street work!

3rd wagon incoming! 12 tonner be rolling around with these two 18 tonners after Christmas! The alloy bed is being made and put on same as the other two then she's being sent up!💪🏾
