Our client had outgrown working from the spare bedroom and wanted to create something special—a dedicated workspace with plenty of natural light, somewhere they could truly enjoy spending their day while growing their new business.

From the striking black composite cladding to the full-height glazing and crisp detailing, every element has been carefully crafted to deliver a low-maintenance building that looks as good as it performs.

We’ve been a little quiet on here lately… but we’ve been busy creating some beautiful spaces behind the scenes. 👷🏼‍♂️✨

One recent favourite is this stunning Western Red Cedar fence. Every board is unique, with its own grain pattern, colour variation and character that develops even further as it weathers naturally over time.

After a well-earned winter break, we’re back — boots on the ground, kettle on, and ideas flowing again. The days are still crisp, the air still sharp, but there’s a softness creeping in. Low winter sun, damp earth, and that quiet promise that the year is slowly waking up.

The workshop feels alive again. Timber stacked, plans spread out on the bench. There’s something comforting about this time of year — not quite spring, not quite winter — just steady, honest work and the warmth that comes from building something with purpose.

We’ve got a few exciting projects lined up for the months ahead. Thoughtfully designed spaces, carefully crafted, made to sit quietly in their surroundings and be enjoyed all year round. No rush — just doing things properly, as we always do.

Here’s to warm layers, cold mornings, a good cup of tea — one black ☕️ and one white ☕️ — and a year ahead full of builds we’re proud of.
