A well-dressed distribution board, neatly bundled cables, properly labelled circuits. It looks good in a photo, but the real point of tidy work is technical.
A clean installation is faster to test and certify, easier to fault-find when something does go wrong, simpler to extend when the building grows, and far safer for the next engineer who opens the panel. It is also the clearest signal a building owner has that the rest of the job has been done to the same standard.
Tidy work is one of the things our clients consistently mention back to us, and it is one of our non-negotiables on every site we run. Not because the photo will look nice, although it usually does, but because the building deserves an installation that will still make sense in ten years.
Planning a commercial or industrial electrical project? It is worth setting that standard from day one.
