Final design from the Suzy Robyn festive takeover… Handmade polymer clay and glass bead earrings: Holly edition! Despite how fiddly they were to make, I actually kinda love these - the berries look so much prettier in real life too ❤️

Sharing another fiddly make that I just cannot do justice in ANY picture! I call these “Winter Wishes” where each jar is filled with a different token and labelled before being wax sealed with handpicked coordinating colours. We have “Candy Cane Dreams” with mini polymer clay candy canes, “The Key to Christmas” with a magic key contained, “Dreams of a White Christmas” with everlasting bottled snow (mini pom poms), and a “Touch of Magic” to name a few. I’ve made 24 unique designs and hope to take some more flattering pictures in future… 🫙

And for something a little different… Handmade polymer clay and glass bead earrings. This was probably the most challenging make this year because of how fiddly it was and how long each set took to make. I tried bending all the wires to give a more natural and unique look to each pair too 🤍

Dear literary friends,
What are your thoughts on wooden bookmarks?
I had so much fun with this cut out design, but curious to hear if this format appeals before I play around with some whimsical designs… 📚

Next up in the festive takeover is probably my favourite make (although I’ve probably had the most trial and error with these…). It’s another item inspired by school Christmas fairs of days going by… A Magic Santa Key 🔑 These are perfect for homes without chimneys or ones that are typically difficult for Santa to visit ✨

Hopefully y’all remember but I used to love making letter writing sets and the festive season is no exception. I’ve made a “Sweet Christmas” design with gingerbread, candy canes, bells, bows, stars and baubles all put together with some jolly red envelopes and a candy cane pen, all packaged up in a striped bag ❤️

Time to continue the Suzy Robyn festive takeover! My simple snowflake designs are going to be on pretty much everything on the stall on Saturday. I’ve made this a set of 4 winter themed slate coasters - I love natural materials and am so impressed how easily they engrave 🩶

One of the things that’s been getting me back into crafting recently is my new toy… My xTool S1 machine! 😎
After drawing up some simple designs and converting them into SVGs, I’m enjoying the process of seeing how I can put my designs onto different materials. (I also couldn’t resist adding this song to one of my posts) ❄️

In my first post of the Suzy Robyn Designs festive takeover, I’m starting with a relatively simple one... This one was inspired by something we used to have at our Primary School Christmas fair - “Reindeer Food” 🦌
I designed a cute lil reindeer face perfect for some glittery vinyl and cracked out the Cricut for the first time in ~2 years! Heat pressing onto a burlap sack and filling with bird seed gives some magic for sprinkling outside on Christmas Eve and some much needed food for the birds in winter 🐦‍⬛

Hey all! Don’t be fooled by the picture - it’s still Beany Geek - but temporarily assuming a different identity 😄 This page has always been my creative outlet, even before I started selling STEM related gifts. In the short term, I am going to use this account to share some of my festive makes for my… (wait for it…) first ever craft stall! This is something I’ve ALWAYS wanted to do and feel super lucky that a friend in our village has given me a stall and encouraged me to give it a go. The things I’ve made are a bit different for what you might be used to seeing but I hope you like them 🥰

I’m sure my fellow STEM enthusiasts will be pleased to see that although my creative output is low, my love for being an ambassador for Women in STEM remains high!
Today’s the day where I join a range of EDI enthusiasts for the annual WISE conference. Super excited to announce I’ve been invited to be part of their speakers programme too! Looking forward to discussing WISE’s My Skills My Life student outreach initiative 💜

Hello there! It’s been a VERY long time since I visited my creative account and my hobby of collecting crafty hobbies has given me the itch to get back into things 🧵
Life has changed a LOT since my last update. Not only did Beany Geek get married (yes, lots of decs were DIY’d!) but
