Happy weekend, everyone.

JB Architects has been proudly working with both Alton FC and Treloar's in order to provide a new covered safe standing and seating area at The Exclusive Networks Stadium, Alton.

Treloar's supports around 180 children and young people, aged 4 to 25 years, who come from across the country to attend school and college.

All students are physically disabled, many with complex clinical needs and sensory impairment. Treloar's provides a fully inclusive, supportive environment where young people can learn whilst having therapy and care integrated into their tailored programme.

Alton FC and Treloars recently held a fundraising event at the ground for the works, allowing local teams to play on the pitch and take part in various stadium activities whilst learning about the proposals.

It's been amazing to be part of the process as we work to ensure that football is accessible to everyone and can be enjoyed in comfort with friends and family.

We at JB Architects look forward to sharing more about this project with you all down the line once the proposal plans are confirmed.

Our stunning Southsea single-storey extension project is now complete.

With its expansive, open-plan kitchen and dining area that opens out onto a level-access patio, this extension has truly revolutionised the ground-floor space.

With the ability to push the large slim-line sliding doors back into the external wall construction, our clients will benefit from the maximum openable area between the garden and the property's internal areas.

The extension was carefully designed around these doors, allowing them to slide back into the wall of the entrance hall, where there are no window installations.

This project will offer fantastic views of the landscaped garden once the works in that section are completed.

This was a highly intricate project, in which JB Architects was tasked with designing out as many downstands as possible and all structural posts, in collaboration with a structural engineer. This meticulous planning has allowed for seamless ceilings and unobstructed views throughout the open-plan spaces.

Any structure on show within the open plan space has been incorporated into the 'A' frame truss installations, which allow for this extension to stand apart from the rest internally.

JB Architects was appointed to obtain Planning and Building Regulations approval for the extension project.

JB Architects was proud to support Sean Reading’s charity pitch day at Bristol City, Ashton Gate today.

Sean has been organising charity pitch days since 2013 alongside his JB Architects duties with his friend Phil George.

An amazing £4,498.45 was raised today by the participants at Team Edstreme Charity Events latest event.

Well done everyone, looking forward to supporting your 2027 event 😀⚽️👍

We are pleased to announce that we raised an incredible £4,498.45 at our Bristol City FC, Ashton Gate pitch day.

Amazing support and fun as always.

A completed new build house in Binsted, Nr Alton, Hampshire.

The brief on this project was to obtain planning permission for a 3 bedroom property on a large and disused part of the client’s garden.

Once planning permission had been obtained, the land was sold and the property has since been built and is now on the market.

The property boasts an open-plan kitchen dining room, separate living room, entrance hall, 3 well-proportioned bedrooms, neat rear garden and a spacious driveway and parking.

The width of the plot meant that we needed to focus on providing a practical living space while ensuring good access to outside spaces.

Take a look at pictures taken during our recent site visit to one of our Havant projects, which is progressing nicely on-site.

The works include a single-storey rear extension and a part two-storey extension.

The newly formed open-plan area on the ground floor will accommodate an expansive kitchen, dining, and garden room, along with a utility space and a secondary access point to the property.

This allows the removal of any dirty/wet clothing before entering the habitable areas of the property.

The newly created open-plan space to the rear will provide stunning views of the large, landscaped garden and offer our clients a great entertaining space.

On the first floor, the client's existing master bedroom will now benefit from a walk-in wardrobe and an en-suite.

JB Architects was also tasked with completing a complex build over agreement with Southern Water, which was approved.

JB Architects was appointed to obtain approval for the extension project's Planning and Building Regulations.
