The **Bifrost Thrust Rudder & Fin** is a patented solution designed specifically for vessels operating with nozzles. By recovering energy from the propeller wake and optimising the flow through the nozzle, the system converts more engine power into useful thrust.

Real-world testing has already demonstrated impressive results, including an increase in bollard pull from **7 tonnes to 8.4 tonnes** on the reference tug *Daafjord*, allowing the vessel to undertake work normally reserved for larger tugs.
The solution has been developed in cooperation with a propulsion package including a **Nogva Heimdal propeller** and **Kort Propulsion nozzle**, demonstrating how integrated propulsion solutions can deliver measurable operational and environmental benefits.
