Cup rugby is here and with it we welcome the arrival of local side Exmouth to Bonfire Field. With a packed fixture list and a couple of knocks our lineup sees a number of changes from our most recent league run out. A massive well done to our 1st XV debutants, Jim Wellard, Tom Scott, Zack Killian and Rhys Parks.
Its in the forwards where we've made the most changes. As mentioned new signing Zack Killian comes in at ho**er, either side of him are Cottle and Lock. Further into the pack Steve Ashford starts alongside Jim Wellard in the second row whilst the backrow features another new signing Fin Cackett who'll be flanked by the experienced Tom Bird and energetic Tom Scott.
Within the backs there's a little bit of rearranging, James Mattin will start at ten with Lewis Webb on the bench. Mattin's usual nine jersey is passed to Tegan Furner. Austin Crow and Tom Oxland are our wingers whilst Batty and Holwill keep their centre shirts. Dec Hadley is at fullback to make up the starting XV.
Five substitutes are permitted at Devon Cup level. Player, coach Ross Bovingdon offers some versatile front row replacements. Alongside the already mentioned Lewis Webb is Raf Zappia, Nate James and Rhys Parks.
Kickoff for this mouth watering cup tie is 14:30. Don't miss it!
