This installation was a move from the customers old site to a new dairy 🐄

The team moved his 14,000 Ltr Bulk Tank and Ice Builder (which was outside as a temporary fix) into the new unit together with 2 x new 4hp condensing units.

A nice addition to an installation for a local customer we did back in April of this year, the customer has had a 2.4T fully refurbished Kilkenny Ice Builder installed alongside his existing equipment; a 30,000Ltr GEA Bulk Tank driven by 2 x 7hp Condensing Units.

❄️BENEFITS OF STORED ICE COOLING❄️

❄️The ice builder can be run during off-peak hours when electricity costs less. It builds an ice reserve which can then be used for cooling whenever it is required.

❄️Ice builders are an excellent addition to businesses utilising renewables. The ice builder can be used to store cooling when electricity is available from solar or wind.

❄️An ice reserve can accommodate very large spikes in cooling demand without any loss of cooling performance. This makes ice builders ideal for use in applications with fluctuating demand, or
situations with very large, short term cooling loads such as cooling pasteurised milk or cooked food.

The team were of to Denbighshire for this installation 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿.

The customer had a new Roka 30,000 Ltr Silo with an alcove that is driven by two 10hp J&E Hall condensing units sitting neatly behind the silo. He also had a refurbished 7,000 Ltr Bulk Tank installed to be used as a buffer tank and lastly we added a 500Ltr buffer cylinder to his existing Heat Recovery System to give him extra hot water capacity.

This weeks installation took the team all the way to Norfolk. The customer had a new Roka 18,000 Ltr RKC installed together with 2 x 6hp condensing units to run it.
