CJC fuel filter pressure shot up to 3.2 bar, time for a change. This is apparently 'clean' diesel. This is why we filter it. It ain't clean.

I do hate the job sometimes. Finding airline leaks in crawl tunnels at sea, is now my least favourite job.

Coolant testing is important for your engines, having the simple know how of how to test it's health is crucial to your bank balance. This is a 20 year old caterpillar generator with over 103500 hours on the clock. I've been giving it's cooling system a bit of tlc.

Air filter on an Atlas Copco oxygen compressor. Not sure when that filter had been changed before. Oil was like tar. New oil almost like water. Full service carried oot with over 22000 hours on this machine. System vacuumed to restore pressure and all seals replaced and oil and filters changed.

One last job before I head to sea next week. A sweaty graft getting the propellor shaft reconnected while in the water. Happy customer. I'll be back on the 20th August.

500 hour service on the Isuzu 42, stern greaser refill, coolant condition check, stern gland tightened, heating anti freeze drained and topped up with 5050 as had no freeze protection, crucial at this time of year. A pleasant customer is always a bonus. Give me a call if you require winterizing checks. Hope you all have a lovely Christmas 🎄
