Unfortunately as of this Friday the 19th we are shutting our doors possibly for good. It has not worked out to be financially viable to carry on operating the business. Even with plenty of work the over head costs, responsibilities, timescales, and workload just doesn’t warrant pursuing further with the business as it is. We have enjoyed the last 3 ½ years and met some lovely people along the way, But sadly the journey has come to an end. We would like to thank everyone involved and wish everyone the best. James.

A mixed bag of weather this week while working on plot 2 frame in Helston. Luckily, was with us all the way to power the job on. With a little help and entertainment from along the way.

Some before and afters from a job we did a couple of weeks ago. We made and fitted the wall panelling, new fire surround, alcove units, shelves, picture rail, and new mouldings.

Very small kitchen fitted under the stairs, which is a first for us. Despite the difficult working environment due to the small work area and poor weather conditions, the boys did a great job. A dividing wall with a door also fitted to make this a self-contained area, lots of scribing involved. Hats off to Mike and Brian for doing such a top job for us. I'm aware the socket above the hob is not in the correct place but we did not organise the electrical work. It will be corrected on the return visit.

We are looking for a local experienced carpenter to do work in Falmouth, Helston, and the surrounding area for a small growing business. Must be reliable, have own van, have own tools, and able to do work to a high standard in a team and as an individual. The work carried out currently is 1st fix, 2nd fix, kitchen fitting, timber framing, roof work (fascia and soffit), bespoke design items by developers, and other carpentry related jobs.

40 hours a week 8am - 4.30pm with additional hours if wanted, mainly small developments, renovations, and light domestic jobs.

Today marked the start of the first timber frame on the Helston site for us. Unfortunately, it was a slow start due to a communication breakdown from the frame company, causing the first delivery of panels to be delayed till the afternoon. Nevertheless, we cracked on when they arrived, and hopefully tomorrow will be a more productive day.
