Established in 1993, Arctic Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Ltd is a family run business located in the South East that specialises in HVACR and electrical services spanning domestic, commercial & industrial markets. We offer the full range of design, installation, refurbishment and maintenance services to our clients wherever they may be based in the UK. We take great pride and place heavy emphasis in offering a timely, reliable and quality service for our clients and seek an engineer who has a passion for the industry and shares these values.

All applicants:
MUST have NVQ Level-2 Diploma/s in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration or higher qualifications
MUST have F-Gas Category 1 Certification
MUST have an Air Conditioning & Refrigeration SKILLcard
MUST have a full and clean UK driving license
MUST have the right to work in the UK
MUST be able to diagnose, repair and maintain BOTH air conditioning AND refrigeration equipment with demonstrable confidence
MUST provide a portfolio of recently completed works
MUST be aware an offer for the position is subject to a full DBS check
MUST be aware an offer for the position is subject to a competency test
The ideal candidate will be able to prove they are hard working, well-motivated, proactive when facing challenges as well as keen and eager to learn. An indication of this would include the possession of additional desirable qualifications such as IPAF and PASMA. Successful candidates will also possess excellent communication skills, confidently work as part of a team or under their own initiative and a reliable, honest attitude.
Responsibilities:
Air conditioning diagnostics, repair, maintenance and installations - all system types and manufacturers in domestic, commercial and industrial properties
Refrigeration diagnostics, repair, maintenance and installations - all system types and manufacturers in commercial and industrial properties
The preparation of quotations for domestic, commercial and industrial clients
Emergency call-outs at short notice
Discussion of requirements with clients, peers and suppliers
Proactive, effective and full completion of job sheets (including those on paper additionally required by client), quotations, audit sheets, risk assessments and method statements. Completed digitally using Clik and Clik Jobs.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
