Recently, we had the pleasure of hosting our Supply Chain Event at the Hilton Southampton - Utilita Bowl. 🔺

It was a great morning spent alongside our valued supply chain partners, and we want to express our gratitude to everyone for their attendance and contributions.

The entire Amiri team came together recently for our annual Staff Briefing, held this year at the Chilworth Manor Hotel. It was a great opportunity to reconnect, reflect on our progress and share business updates.

What a great day it was on Tuesday, marking the official topping out of Infinity Labs at the University of Southampton Science Park.

It was fantastic to have the whole team together, with 50 stakeholders attending the event, including representatives from the local council, businesses, academia, the project team, architects, designers and supply chain partners.

The ceremony featured the traditional tightening of the final bolt by Nick Adams-King, Leader of Hampshire County Council, alongside Dr Robin Chave, CEO of Southampton Science Park; and our Managing Director, Jon Daines.

The blog team recently made their first site visit to SEP – Little Testwood Farm, Totton 🔺🚧

Great progress is underway, with groundworks now officially commenced. The piling mat is currently being constructed using recycled hardcore, supporting both sustainability and efficiency on site.

The reduced dig for the attenuation tank is progressing well, despite the recent heavy rainfall. In a smart bit of site innovation, the rainwater has been effectively utilised to create a wheel wash for muck-away vehicles - helping to keep the access road clean and operations running smoothly.

Project Update - Infinity Labs, USSP

Despite periods of extremely cold and wet weather, progress on site has remained impressive at Infinity Labs. 🔺

The first-floor slab pour is now complete, with preparations for the second-floor pour well underway. Southern Structures have been making excellent progress installing steel reinforcement and shuttering systems, including the stair core - setting the stage for the next major milestone.

Groundbreaking Ceremony at SEP - Little Testwood Farm, Totton 🎉

We’re pleased to mark the start on site at SEP - Little Testwood Farm, Totton, involving the construction of a new industrial unit alongside extensive external works. The scheme includes on-site roads, parking areas, communal open spaces, and new vehicular and pedestrian connections, with ground improvement works forming a key part of the delivery.

The development is being delivered for Specialised Engineering Products ltd, specialists in the supply of high-quality sealing devices.

This is a fantastic milestone for a project five years in the making - great to see it underway. 🔺
