Happy Penguin Appreciation Day!

Today we’re celebrating one of the world’s most iconic and characterful creatures – the penguin – and shining a spotlight on a very special connection within the Corrigenda family.

Our former colleague, Lauren Elliott, is now part of the incredible team at the South Georgia Heritage Trust, working on a remote island in the South Atlantic surrounded by thriving wildlife, including vast colonies of penguins.

The Trust and its USA affiliate FOSGI play a vital role in helping to protect and preserve South Georgia’s unique natural environment and wildlife, while also safeguarding its rich history for future generations. From large-scale habitat restoration projects to ongoing conservation work, their efforts in support of the GSGSSI strategy for South Georgia (https://gov.gs/) are helping this remarkable ecosystem recover and flourish.
