📍Farnborough based📱Free quote 07595 256915 I’ve been working in the construction industry for over 30 years, starting my career at just 16 as a carpenter’s apprentice working for the local council. That’s where I first developed my passion for carpentry and learned the impor

tance of good workmanship, reliability and taking pride in what you do. Carpentry has always been my main trade. I went on to study at college and gained my NVQ Level 3 in Carpentry, but my career has never been limited to just one trade. As part of my early work, I learned to be a multi-trader, which gave me the opportunity to pick up a wide range of practical skills. Over the years, I also developed a real interest in plastering. Rather than learning it from a classroom, I learned the trade hands-on by working alongside different experienced plasterers. That experience has given me a good understanding of both trades and how they work together. After more than three decades in the trade, I still enjoy the work I do. There’s something satisfying about taking a job from the first fix through to the finishing touches and seeing the finished result come together. I started RG Carpentry & Plastering because I wanted to use the experience I’ve built up over the years to provide customers with a service I would be happy to have in my own home — honest, reliable, quality workmanship, with attention to detail and pride in the finished job. I’m a firm believer that your reputation is built on the work you leave behind, and that’s something I take seriously with every job, big or small.

Another kitchen transformation completed! 🔨✨

This kitchen was very dated, so we carried out a complete refurbishment. We moved a wall into the hallway to create more space in the kitchen, removed the old brick larder, and discovered the back wall was badly out of level.

To put it right, we stripped the plaster back to the brickwork, boarded the back wall and ceiling, and freshly plastered the entire room before installing the new kitchen and flooring.

A huge difference from where it started, creating a brighter, more practical space for the customer. If you’re thinking about transforming your kitchen, feel free to get in touch for a free quotation!
