Sometimes Things Go Wrong ❌

We got a call about an Alternator that had unfortunately gone bang....

So our team got to work. The generator was disconnected and brought back to our depot. The old alternator was removed. It was beyond repair.

A new alternator was ordered and our team retrofitted it into this generator with a few minor modifications to the base frame.

Full Load Test to prove operation, and back off to the customer it went.

Test Test Test 🔍

Our team recently installed 2 of our 1200kW Load Banks, with associated 60 meter cable run. All in a days work. This site was specifically challenging. It involved pulling 50 meters worth of cabling onto a roof.

But, at CSL we always get the job done and enjoy whatever challenge may be thrown at us. There is always a solution.

Load Tests were carried and Standby Generators tested to ensure pristine operation. ✅

Lovely Day For a Load Test ☀️

We all love when the suns out here at CSL.

There's nothing better than working in the heat and blue skies, finally moving on from the dark and rainy days. This 300kVA had a full engine service; New Oil, New Filters, Full Check Over.

Followed by a Load Test to prove its operation. Its good to have Standby Power, but having Standby Power that's been tested to full potential is even better.

Forward Thinking With This One.
Access is very limited for this client, so CSL made up a sliding frame underneath this generator. Then mounted heavy duty casters to the bottom of the generator so the set can be maneuvered left and right to allow for access either side.

The doors of the set were altered to become lift-off, and a locking system installed so the set doesn't go walkies!

Swapsies!

This tired old generator got swapped out this week. A new 33kVA Cummins was put in its place, perfect.

As well as the new generator a new GTech ATS was installed in place of the old switching unit. Mains failures can be tedious. With this setup, the un reliable mains on site will no longer be a problem.
