Cambridge commercial atrium - we handled full fabrication and installation of the structural window support steelwork. One week in the workshop, one week on site bolting steel to concrete ceilings overhead.

Not the easiest install. Definitely worth it.

A smooth installation on-site is entirely dependent on accurate data from the very beginning. Relying strictly on original paper drawings can be risky, as minor variations during groundworks or masonry stages happen on almost every live project.

That is why our process routinely includes conducting a thorough site survey using a digital total station before we cut a single piece of steel. By capturing the exact, as-built dimensions of concrete pads or existing structures, we can adjust our fabrication drawings to match the real-world environment. It takes a little extra care upfront, but it ensures everything drops into place perfectly on installation day.

This cat ladder was installed too close to the wall. Rather than a costly redesign, we fabricated custom galvanised steel brackets to extend the ladder away from the wall and bring it up to standard.
